Seat Width
Whilst you are sitting down, measure the hips from the outer point to outer point to find your total hip width.
Backrest Height
Measure the total height between the base of your spine to the top of your shoulders. Do note, however that it is more important to choose the correct seat and armrest width for the body, than the backrest height. It is important to find a close fit.
Seat Depth
Measure the total length of your thigh, from the base of your spine to underneath your knee. N.B This measurement should be accurate to avoid the seat depth being too deep.
Sitting Height
Measure from the floor up to behind the knees. N.B. The user should be at a sitting position with feet flat on the ground, wearing everyday shoes.
Desk Height
You need to take your desk height into account. A tall desk may require a taller chair height with an additional footring.
